Who are we
We are a Staff Association with the statutory aim to defend the professional interests of all members of staff of the EPO, in the benefit of employees, without any form of discrimination based on any ground, such as function group, nationality, gender, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.
We are convinced that these interests shall be best defended within a unified EPO career system, where the management of human resources results into a harmonised career structure, offering full opportunities to everybody according to his/her contribution to the service, independently from the place of employment.
We consider that defending equal treatment and sense of belonging for all EPO staff in terms of benefits, office spaces and administrative support, is key to a truly unified and “one-office” EPO.
In order to achieve these goals, we intend to engage with staff cross-site, with the administration and with all staff representatives in order to facilitate an efficient evolution towards such a structure, avoiding division of staff in different groups, places of employment with markedly different recognition in terms of career perspectives, benefits and services.
